This week’s Natures Edge Garden Center Teacher of the week is Laporte Middle School Science Teacher Garrett Dufault. He was nominated by former student Britten Haugen who says he is an amazing teacher who explains things in different ways if a student is confused, listens to what you say when you need help or have a question and tells funny jokes. He also teaches at BSU Upward Bound during his summers and Britten says Mr. Dufault would play catch with him when they went outside for class.
All Mr. Townsdin’s shop classes will be in the library today.
No drama practice Thursday and Friday- we will meet again on Monday after school!
Next week is homecoming week, Monday’s dress up day is pajama day.
There is a Student Council meeting today during middle school lunch and advisory.
The Laporte Homecoming dance will be Friday October 2nd from 7pm-11pm. Middle School Students are welcome to join from 7pm-10pm. Cost for a Laporte Student is $10.00, cost for guests from another school is $5.00. If you are bringing a guest from another school stop by the office to get a dance form, they need to be returned by Thursday October 1st. Food and drinks will also be available to purchase.
MS/HS students, the First WILDCAT BUCK STORE IS OPEN THIS FRIDAY!!!!!
Any students planning on going to Ren Fest or who want to join D&D please get permission forms to Mr Ware or Ms. Mittleider by Friday.
Tea Bombs will be here tomorrow. They will be in the HS hallway from now on, elementary students will not be allowed to buy.
