*ATTN JUNIORS: The Minnesota Association of Townships is proud to announce the 2023 Scholarship Program, which awards up to five $2000.00 to high school juniors. Applications must be submitted by June 1st, 2024.  Scholarship information in the office.

*The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may have not allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.  With no GPA requirement, students are encouraged to apply as this scholarship is meant to be inclusive. *Rural MN CEP has a youth program that may be able to assist with some college funding for those eligible.  You must apply for the program before you put any money down on books or tuition/fees, so it is important that you contact us as soon as you can so we can determine if we can help.  Call Jenny Person at 218-444-0732 or email at jenniferp@rmcep.com as soon as possible for more information.     

 

*Beltrami Electric Co-op Scholarship:  $2000.00.  Parents/guardians must be members of the Co-op.  Due date: April 19th, 2024.  Please see Megan in the office for application and more information.  

*CHI St. Joseph’s Health Graduating Senior Scholarship.  $1000.00.  Application deadline:  April 2024.  Applications available here:  https://chisjh.org/foundation/scholarships/

Essentia Health Scholarship-$1000.00   Application deadline:  April 14th, 2024.  Applicants must be attending a post secondary institution for a health care related field.  Applications available in the office.  See Megan for more details. 

*Better Business Bureau Foundation Students of Integrity Scholarship This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who have demonstrated high character, leadership, and ethical values in their personal choices and actions. Harold Harris VFW scholarship-$500.00. Due date:  May 3rd, 2024.  See Megan in the office for details.

 

(2)-industry scholarship opportunities from Paul Bunyan Electric:

One is a $2,000 scholarship through the Minnesota Telecom Association (MTA) and the application can be downloaded at: https://www.mnta.org/page/Scholarship   Applications must be turned in to Paul Bunyan Communications no later than February 16, 2024. 

The other is a $2,500 scholarship through the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Applications can also be downloaded from the FRS web site at https://www.frs.org/programs/youth-programs/scholarships    Completed applications must be submitted online no later than February 16, 2024.  

(3)-$500.00 scholarships from the Gary and Joan Moorhead Trade Scholarship.  This scholarship is intended for graduating seniors entering a trade program next fall.  Applications available in the office-due date:  May 3rd, 2024

Associated General Contractors of North Dakota has scholarships available for High School Seniors pursuing a career in the exciting and rewarding field of construction. Applications available at: www.agcnd.org/scholarship

• CHI St. Joseph’s Health Graduating Senior Scholarship  – $1,000 scholarship awards are available to graduating seniors from the communities of Park Rapids, Nevis, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, Laporte, Menahga, Sebeka or home school who are going onto college, or accredited vocational school, pursuing careers in health care.

• CHI St. Joseph’s Health/Brian Koria Scholarship – $1,000 scholarship awards funded by CHI St. Joseph’s Health co-workers in memory of Brian Koria, is available to graduating seniors who are pursuing education in the medical field.  Graduates need to be from the communities of Park Rapids, Nevis, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, Laporte, Menahga, Sebeka or home school
