Boozhoo, indizhinikaaz Caity Smith. Hello, My name is Caity Smith and I am the Indigenous Coordinator here at Laporte School.  I am a mother to 9 children who, along with my husband, are enrolled members of the White Earth Reservation.  Keeping our children connected to their heritage and culture is of great importance to me and I have enjoyed bringing that passion to the students of Laporte.  I started at the school in the fall of 2023 and have been honored to add to our Indian Education Program while also starting many new traditions.
