Students will be tested in the areas of Reading, Math and Science for the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments.

Grades/Subjects Tested:
Reading-Grades 3-8 and 10
Math-Grades 3-8 and 11
Science- Grades 5, 8, and 10

Minnesota MCA and MTAS tests will be administered according to the calendar above (Test Window March 6th- May 5th 2023). For more information on the state tests please refer to the Laporte Secondary Student Handbook page 39.  

Student Refusal forms need to be filled out by the student as well as the parent/guardian and submitted on file with the school before testing begins. For more information go to the Statewide Testing page:

The ASVAB test is a military aptitude test all Laporte Juniors take.

It is administered onsite at Laporte typically in October of each year.

The Renaissance Star tests are a suite of tests used to get a thorough view of a student’s progress, achievement, and growth throughout the year.
