Laporte First Grade is a Sharp bunch !
Welcome, my name is Shannon Sharp and I’m one of the wonderful teachers at Laporte this year! I will be teaching the First Grade class. I grew up in Laporte and went to school with many of the families of our current students. After many years teaching in Alaska it is SO nice to be home! Some of my favorite hobbies are fishing, traveling and working with my animals on my farm with my husband Jeremy. I hope to share some of these interests with my students and find out their interests as well. I enjoy going to work every day with the warm and caring staff at Laporte and being supported by a community that goes that extra mile to help take care of our school! Please come and join us in exploring, learning, and growing this year! We are eager to show all of the amazing things that are happening in our classroom and our school!
Here is a website to get all First Grade families to Mrs. Sharp’s Google classroom. If there is a distance learning day, this would be where the students would go to connect with their teacher for assignments and any google meets that they would need to attend.
