The Parent Teacher Organization
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following yearly events:
First meeting of the school year! Come join us in getting things going to help our students this school year!
Fall Open House: A time to tell everyone what we do and recruit a few new volunteers!
Fall PTO Family Nite and Carnival-
This year we are doing a carnival with a Pirate theme. We want to make this event bigger and better! We need help to do it and you are the perfect person for it! This is our only scholarship fundraiser for our senior students. We want to promote our students education and have fun doing it. Please consider joining the Carnival Committee.
Class Food Shelf Drive: Help coordinate and encourage our students to help those in need this holiday season by donating items for the Laporte Area Food Shelf. A list of items needed will be provided and the class that earns the most points will win a party!
Winter Festival: This year we are planning on hosting a Family Winter Festival including a Pancake Breakfast, Kids' Crafts and pictures with a jolly red-suited elf! Please join us to plan some winter fun for all!
We are looking at adding another fundraiser. We are receiving many requests and opportunities to provide speakers, artistic exposure and other activities for our students. We would like to raise more money so our students are able to take advantage of these opportunities.
March: Box Tops Final Submission:
We are planning to do more than one collection this year and involve the whole school and community. If you are interested in helping coordinate one of the easiest, but most lucrative fundraisers, this one is for you!
Staff Appreciation Week:
We need a few volunteers to help plan the festivities and spend time setting up and distributing the "goodies" we have for staff. Our school's staff work so very hard to make sure our children get a quality and safe education. Please be a part of this rewarding committee. You will get showered with lots of appreciation!
This is a great opportunity to increase our community pride and let them know what we do. And it doesn't hurt that we make a little money too! We some volunteer workers to help with:
Carnival-Set up and running of a mini version of our school carnival games.
Road Apple Stickers-selling them the day of the parade
Flea Market Booth-taking a shift at our daily booth selling Wildcat wear.
