In response to changing guidance from CDC, Laporte School is updating the quarantine procedures.  We are using the following guidelines.



If you test positive for COVID-19:
- Stay home for 5 days and isolate yourself from others.
- If you are symptom free after 5 days, return to school/work and wear a mask until you are 10 days out from your positive test

If someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 and you are vaccinated:
- You do not need to quarantine.
- If you develop symptoms, quarantine immediately.
- Wear a mask for 10 days from the date of exposure.

If someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 and you are not vaccinated:
- Stay home and quarantine for 5 days.
- If you are symptom free after 5 days, return to school/work and wear a mask until you are 10 days out from your exposure.
- If you develop symptoms, quarantine immediately.
