Congratulations to Thaoden Hartman who was the varsity player of the game last Friday. Thaoden led the team with 18 points. Thaoden was the best defender on the court, shown by his 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. Thaoden’s overall energy and effort was tremendous, and that had a huge impact on the play of the team.
Owen Backus was the JV Player of the Game. Owen had his best game of the season. He played with energy, getting steals and hustling on both offense and defense. He pitched in 9 points as well.
Teigen Weikle was the JH Player of the Game. Teigen had great passing on offense and some great drives to the basket.
Girls Basketball travels to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle tonight JH 4:30 and Varsity 5:45, bus leaves at 1:30 please excuse players at 1:15.
Wrestling Van leaves at 3:00PM today please excuse players at 2:55.
Cheer practice will be Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:00PM.
Winter formal week will be January 20th-23rd. The dance will be Friday, the 23rd, from 7-11pm. If you plan on bringing a guest that doesn’t go to school in Laporte, you will need a dance slip for them. They are found in the office.
Reminder: End of semester is this Friday, January 16th.
