Congrats to the speaker of the week Raya Gamache for placing 1st in Reading at the Cass Lake Varsity meet, going straight 1’s! Other speakers taking home awards are Carson Johanssen taking 2nd in Storytelling, Elijah Wood taking 4th in Reading, and Angalena Miller taking 6th in Humor. Go Wildcat Speakers!
Congratulations to the boys varsity Player of the Game last Friday against LOW, Mason Shadrick. Mason had his best all around game. 14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals while only having one turnover. Mason shot the ball confidently in the second half, which helped our team battle back.
The JV Player of the Game was Dillon Foresman. Dillon played hard on offense and defense. Dillon always hustles and puts forth his best effort. Dillon was also able to pitch in 5 points.
Congratulations to the girls varsity Player of the Game yesterday against Win-E-Mac Kalli Miller. Kalli put up 18 points doing some awesome post moves and drawing fouls to get on the free throw line 7 times. Defensively her blocks were on fire!!
Winter formal week this week. The dance will be this Friday, the 23rd, from 7-11pm. If you plan on bringing a guest that doesn’t go to school in Laporte, you will need a dance slip for them. They are found in the office.
Wednesday’s dress up day for winter formal week is Wacky Hair.
