One Act and Speech!
Laporte's one act presentation of The Sandbox placed 5th at the sections competition last Saturday, and the whole team had a blast! Jessica Sheets and Lindsey Daggett were named as 'actors of merit' from their performance, and Lindsey Daggett was also named as one of four 'outstanding actors' from the entire competition. We're all very proud of them, and wish them luck next year!
We're also excited to send off our Wildcat Speech Team to their meet in Hibbing next Saturday! Bev and Joe Jorland are doing a fantastic job of coaching students from 7th through 12th grades, and i'm sure they'll all do well. Good luck, Wildcats!
