Laporte was awarded a $10,000 grant to purchase STEM carts.

1.         Speech Kick-Off Night tonight in the Community Room.  Speech games and info from the pros on what it means to be on the Speech Team.  Interested students in grades 6-12 are welcome. We will provide pizza. - Coaches Booth and Jorlands
 
2.         There will be no Speech Camp on Saturday.  We will reschedule. Booth
 
3.         The Laporte School Drama Club announces auditions for the 2017 one act play, today and Friday at 3:30 in Mr. H's room. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to audition for this contest play. Rehearsals will begin later this month and continue for the entire month of January. See Mr. H for more details.
 
4.         To the cast and crew of Midsummer Jersey: Your drama club president recently delivered your thoughtful gifts. Thank you for the chocolate and the wax warmer. You are very kind. -- Mr. H
 
5.         Girls’ Varsity Basketball tonight in Red Lake at 7:00, bus leaves at 5:00.
